About this trial

This clinical trial is looking at how well total ablative therapy works when added to the usual treatment for colorectal cancer that has spread to up to four places in the body. The usual treatment includes medications to help stop the cancer from growing. Total ablative therapy includes focused radiation or surgery to try to remove cancer from specific spots. The goal is to see if adding this therapy can help improve patient outcomes.

The trial's ID number is NCT05673148. This is a Phase 3 trial, meaning it is testing how well the treatment works and how safe it is. About 364 people are expected to join this study.

Who can join

This trial is open to adults aged 18 and older, both men and women. Participants must have colorectal cancer that has spread but not to more than four places in the body. Patients need to have a treatable primary tumor and must not have certain genetic mutations. The study team will confirm who is eligible during the screening process.

What happens in the study

Participants will be placed into one of two groups by chance. One group will receive total ablative therapy along with standard chemotherapy. The second group will only receive standard chemotherapy. All participants will have regular scans to monitor their condition throughout the trial.
