About this trial
This study looks at how different messages about skin cancer risk can encourage people to take steps to prevent skin cancer. The focus is on patients in health centers and how to better communicate risks. By understanding this, doctors can improve prevention activities for skin cancer.

Who can join
Anyone 18 years or older can join if they are patients at one of the six Tampa Family Health Centers. They should have reported some skin cancer risk behaviors, like tanning or getting sunburns, in the past year. Those who cannot provide consent or complete assessments cannot join. The trial team will confirm eligibility.

What happens in the study
Participants will be placed randomly into one of three groups. One group receives personalized prevention materials based on their genetic risk for skin cancer. Another group gets standard prevention materials. The third group does not receive any intervention materials but will still take part in follow-up assessments.
