About this trial
This study looks at the safety of a medicine called dapagliflozin for kids with certain types of brain tumors and solid tumors that have come back or did not respond to other treatments. The goal is to see if dapagliflozin can work well alongside standard treatments. Researchers hope it will be safe and effective for these young patients.
The trial ID is NCT05521984. This is a Phase 1 study, which means it is looking at how safe and effective the treatment is. It is regulated by the FDA, and the trial hopes to include about 20 participants.

What happens in the study
Participants will be placed in groups based on their age and type of cancer. Everyone will take dapagliflozin along with standard chemotherapy. The treatment lasts for 12 weeks, and all patients will stop taking dapagliflozin after that period. This means they will take dapagliflozin by mouth every day alongside their chemotherapy.
