This trial studies a new way to help women aged 70 and older who have low-risk breast cancer make treatment decisions. It compares a special training for surgeons and a decision aid for patients against usual care. The goal is to see if this new approach leads to better treatment choices and improved care for these women.
The trial's ID number is NCT06896474. It is not in a specific phase, as it is using a novel approach. The trial hopes to include around 402 participants and is not FDA-regulated.
