About this trial
This clinical trial looks at how well two treatments work for women with ovarian or endometrial cancer that has returned or is still present after treatment. The study compares selumetinib alone to selumetinib combined with olaparib. Selumetinib blocks certain enzymes that tumors need to grow. Olaparib keeps cancer cells from repairing their damaged DNA, which may help them die. The goal is to see if the combination treatment helps more than selumetinib alone.
This is a Phase 2 trial, which means it is looking at how well the treatments work and how safe they are. The trial is regulated by the FDA and aims to include about 165 participants.
