About this trial
This study aims to collect and store brain tumor tissue samples. These samples will be part of the University of Florida Brain Tumor Tissue Bank. The goal is to help find better treatments and cures for brain tumors.
The trial's ID number is NCT00811148. It is an observational study, which means it looks at data without giving a treatment. This trial is not regulated by the FDA for drugs or devices. Around 4,000 people are expected to take part.
Who can join
Anyone aged from children to older adults who will have brain surgery to remove a tumor can join. Both men and women can participate. The team will confirm who is eligible to take part.

What happens in the study
Participants will allow the collection of their tumor tissue and medical information during their brain surgeries. This data will be used for future research on brain tumors.
