Dr. Gregory J. Riely, MD, PhD, is a distinguished medical oncologist at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC), where he specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of lung cancers. He holds the role of Vice Chair of Clinical Research in the Department of Medicine and is a Professor of Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College. Dr. Riely earned his MD and PhD from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and completed his residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital, followed by fellowship training in medical oncology at MSKCC. He is board-certified in internal medicine and medical oncology, offering expert, personalized care to patients with non-small cell lung cancer, small cell lung cancer, and thymic malignancies.

Dr. Riely is internationally known for his contributions to the understanding of oncogene-driven lung cancers and the development of targeted therapies. His research focuses on molecular profiling, resistance mechanisms, and early-phase clinical trials of novel agents.
