Dr. Laurie E. Gaspar

Dr. Laurie E. Gaspar, MD, MBA, is a nationally recognized radiation oncologist specializing in thoracic and central nervous system malignancies, with a particular focus on lung cancer and brain tumors. She serves as Professor Emerita in the Department of Radiation Oncology at the University of Colorado School of Medicine, where she previously held the role of Chair of the Department. Dr. Gaspar earned her medical degree from the University of Western Ontario in Canada and completed her residency in radiation oncology at the London Regional Cancer Centre. She is board-certified in Radiation Oncology and is widely regarded for her leadership in multidisciplinary care and clinical trial development for thoracic cancers.

A leader in cooperative group research, Dr. Gaspar has played a pivotal role in national and international trials that have shaped the standard of care for locally advanced lung cancer and brain metastases.
