Dr. Lowell B. Anthony

Dr. Lowell B. Anthony, MD, is a widely respected medical oncologist specializing in neuroendocrine and gastrointestinal malignancies. He serves as Professor of Medicine and Chief of the Division of Medical Oncology at the University of Kentucky Markey Cancer Center. Dr. Anthony earned his medical degree from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine and completed his residency in internal medicine at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He pursued fellowship training in medical oncology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where he developed a focus on neuroendocrine tumor biology and therapeutics. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology and is recognized for his leadership in advancing treatment strategies for complex gastrointestinal and neuroendocrine cancers.
