Leitao Jr., MD, is a preeminent gynecologic oncologist recognized for his mastery of minimally invasive and robotic surgical techniques in the treatment of ovarian, uterine, cervical, and pelvic malignancies. He leads the Minimal Access and Robotic Surgery Program and serves as Director of the Gynecologic Oncology Fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Dr. Leitao earned his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry in New Jersey, completed his OB/GYN residency at the same institution, and pursued fellowship training in gynecologic oncology at MSKCC.
