Dr. Pokala RaviKiran

Dr. Pokala Ravi Kiran, MD, is a nationally recognized colorectal surgeon known for his expertise in minimally invasive and robotic colorectal surgery, complex reoperative procedures, and outcomes-based surgical care. He is Chief of the Division of Colorectal Surgery at Columbia University Irving Medical Center and Director of the Center for Innovation and Outcomes Research in Surgery. Dr. Kiran earned his medical degree from Osmania Medical College in India and completed surgical training in the United Kingdom, followed by a prestigious fellowship in colorectal surgery at the Cleveland Clinic. He is board-certified in both General Surgery and Colon and Rectal Surgery, and his clinical practice focuses on colorectal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, rectal prolapse, and pelvic floor disorders.
