Dr. Steven A. Rosenberg, MD, PhD, is an internationally recognized surgical oncologist and immunotherapy pioneer, best known for his groundbreaking work in cancer immunology and the development of adoptive cell transfer therapies. He serves as Chief of the Surgery Branch at the National Cancer Institute, where he has led transformative research in cellular and gene-based cancer treatments. Dr. Rosenberg earned his medical degree and PhD in biophysics from the University of Chicago and completed his surgical residency at Peter Bent Brigham Hospital in Boston. He is board-certified in Surgery and has dedicated his career to advancing novel immunotherapeutic strategies for patients with advanced malignancies.
