Dr. A.K.Dewan

Dr. A.K. Dewan is Principal Director of Surgical Oncology at Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute & Research Centre, Delhi. He treats oral cancer, laryngeal cancer, and throat cancer, and has performed a large number of oral cancer surgeries over the course of his career. He holds an MBBS and an MS in General Surgery from Dr Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, Delhi, completed in 1984, followed by an MCh in Surgical Oncology from Cancer Institute, Adyar, Chennai, in 1994. He also completed a post-doctoral course in Hospital Management at the National Institute of Health and Family Welfare, Delhi, in 2008. Earlier in his training he worked as a junior resident at LNJP Hospital, Delhi, and trained in cancer surgery at Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai, in 1989.
