Dr. Mark E. Burkard, MD, PhD, is a highly regarded medical oncologist and physician–scientist specializing in breast cancer. He serves as the Director of the University of Iowa Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center, an NCI-designated comprehensive cancer center, and holds the C.E. Block Chair of Cancer Research.
