Dr. Sagar Lonial

Dr. Sagar Lonial, MD, is an internationally recognized hematologist-oncologist specializing in multiple myeloma and other plasma cell malignancies. He serves as Chair of the Department of Hematology and Medical Oncology at Emory University School of Medicine and is Chief Medical Officer of the Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University. Dr. Lonial earned his medical degree from the University of Louisville, completed his residency in internal medicine at Baylor College of Medicine, and pursued fellowship training in hematology and medical oncology at Emory University. He is board-certified in Hematology and Medical Oncology and is widely regarded for his expertise in advancing myeloma treatment and clinical research.
