Dr. Weijing Sun, MD, is a respected medical oncologist specializing in gastrointestinal malignancies, particularly colorectal and liver cancers. He serves as Chief of the Division of Hematology/Oncology at the University of Kansas Medical Center and Associate Director of Clinical Research at The University of Kansas Cancer Center. Dr. Sun earned his medical degree from Shandong University School of Medicine in China, completed his residency in internal medicine at St. John’s Episcopal Hospital in New York, and pursued fellowship training in hematology and oncology at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia.
